Meet Dr. Michael Colangelo, DDS

Dr. Michael Colangelo's dreams of being a dentist began as a small child. He had a phenomenal dentist, and he told his parents that when he grew up he was going to be just like that dentist. He worked hard and in 2007 he earned his dental degree from Indiana University. Throughout his four-year tenure, he was the president of his class and received numerous awards in academics, professionalism and patient care.

 

Dr. Colangelo has a strong commitment to furthering his dental education. He began offering Invisalign in 2008 and, after attending the California Implant Institute, began offering dental implants in 2009. He has since attended numerous dental conferences - the most recent ones being a week-long live implant continuum and a 3D guided surgery course. He believes this commitment to further education is vital because it allows him to better serve the needs of his patients.

 

For multiple years Dr. Colangelo was selected by his peers for topDentist and was featured in both Fort Worth Magazine and Southlake Style. To fulfill his strong sense of commitment to the community, he has twice organized a dental extraction clinic with Dr.Brown from Northern Texas Facial and Oral Surgery. In this clinic, Dr. Colangelo offered free teeth extractions and treatment planning for members of the community in need. 

 

In his personal life, Dr. Colangelo is a proud husband and father of a little boy named Skylar and little girl named Banks. His personal hobbies include restoring classic cars and as of recently learning to play the piano. His favorite activity is spending time with his kids and practicing and playing all the things they enjoy.
